John & Ursula have now given nearly 40 years of service to modellers worldwide. Rather than fully retire they have decided to continue the service for three days a week. The telephone and caller business is only open Monday to Wednesday from 8.30am to 5pm other than occasional holiday breaks.
We are the officially approved service agents for the following makes of motor: Cox, Enya, Fox, GMS, Irvine, MDS, OS, Paw, RCV, Saito, SC, Super Tigre, Thunder Tiger, Webra & Yamada.
We are acknowledged as the principal stockist of model engine spares in Europe and possibly the world with 15,000 + items in stock, if we are unable to supply new spares we are quite often able to quote for good used.
We carry a stock of up to 300 popular new motors at competitive prices.
Due to card and bank charges we have a minimum of five pounds + p&p for mail orders via "Mastercard" "Visa" "Switch" "Solo" cheque or P.O.
Other than selling new motors and new and used motor spares we repair, overhaul, refurbish and blueprint model internal combustion engines. If your motor requires attention we suggest a quick telephone call to check that we are able to handle your particular make and type of motor and then pack it tightly in it original box or similar.
We always estimate for the cost of repair/overhaul of your motor before proceeding. If the cost is prohibitive we will scrap your motor and make no charge. If you would like a new motor of any make or capacity to replace the uneconomic to repair one, we will quote an attractive price up to six months after the estimate date, if you just want the bits of motor returned, we will make an effort to date charge + p&p. Any motors that are estimated for and left with us for six months or more will be scrapped other than any useable parts which will be sold to cover the original dismantling , inspection and estimate etc.

If you are a collector or for some reason require a particular make and capacity of motor we are quite often able to quote for one to be assembled from either new or used or possibly both types of parts. We have at present a good quantity of dc motors made up of new and good used parts. Price of each type available on request,
We have a very large stock of new and used fox motors going back 30 years or more. Please advise us of your particular requirement for either every day use or as a collector’s item and we will attempt to oblige. Our name is synonymous with quality workmanship and good service.
Our premises are located exactly half way between the town of Chudleigh and Britain’s second largest village called Kingsteignton, the road is the B3193 and most callers approach from the main Exeter to Plymouth dual carriageway the A38 and turn off for Chudleigh town. Our nearest neighbour some two hundred yards on the Chudleigh side of us is a large agricultural firm called masons, our gateway is wide and we have a large car park.
We have a small model shop on the premises and stock a good selection of building materials for mostly fixed wing r/c model aircraft. We also have a selection of kits and a.r.t.f. models. We specialise in engine accessories such as glow plugs, prop's, silencers, mounts, spinners, tuned pipes, manifolds, engine starting accessories etc.

When you are considering the purchase of a new motor our 32 years of experience in the model trade is at your disposal. Kindly phone during our normal hours of opening.
We stock hundreds of new and used carburettors. We are usually able to offer either the original type fitted or a very good alternative. We need to know the make and capacity of the motor that requires a carburettor and the spigot size (the diameter of the hole that the carburettor plugs in to). We are also able to considerably up-rate the performance of your 40-108 size motor by fitting the superb "Kavan" pressure carburettor priced from £44.95.
We have a large stock of K & B Sportster spares. Kindly advise us of your requirements or send us your k & b Sportster motor of any capacity for overhaul or repair.
If you have a needle valve problem with either an oldie or modern standard (stunt) motor. Send us the front housing with intake venture or complete motor and we will do our best to fit a currently available needle valve assembly to get the motor going again.

HB Engines
Originally Made in Germany
Made in USA with some German componets since 1989
Don't confuse HB and HP engines... HB engines were produced in Germany by Helmut Bernhardt Feinmechanik and had PDP, Blitz and Stamo models. HP (Hirtenberger Patrone) engines were produced in Austria and now in U.S.A. They have Gold Cup, Silver Star and VT models. These two engines are completely different and no parts interchange.
HP Model Engines are well known for their ultra high quality and design innovations.
