About King's Lynn Aero Model Club

King's Lynn Aero Model Club is a must for all keen radio control aero modellers and flyers. It can be very difficult for an individual to build and fly a radio controlled model aeroplane safely.  The satisfaction of building an aeroplane, flying it and finally bringing it down to earth in one piece without causing damage to other people, property or yourself is wonderful and of course essential! Joining a club helps you enjoy your achievements and share the problems involved

To help achieve this KLAMC offers:-
  • Somewhere safe to fly with two flying fields - The main field at Roydon & a training field at Wootton Marsh.
  • Qualifications in conjunction with BMFA - British Model Flying Association.
  • A friendly group of like minded modellers & flyers always willing to help if you are having difficulties.
  • Club events include:-  Fly-in days - Coach trip to Model Air Shows - Training nights - Club nights - Model of the year Competition - Swap Meets!
  • Monthly News Letter & Web site!

Club History
The current club was started by John Parker - President of the club and a group of like minded friends way back in the late 50's. Although several of to-day's club members were flying down at Roydon close to the present day site, it was more a gathering on the common of young lads with a similar interest - flying model planes!

To protect these interests King's Lynn Aero Modellers Club was formed.
